Enriched Greens Contains:
Spirulina and Chlorella, health-promoting algae packing loads of chlorophyll
Pulverized veggies including Spinach, Carrot, Beetroot, Wheat Grass, Barley Grass, and Green Bananas (packed with fibre!)
Traditional fitness-promoting herbs and extracts including Ashwagandha, Elderberry, Tongkat Ali, Sesamin (a compound found in sesame), Resveratrol (a compound found in grapes), and Beta Sitosterol (a phytosterol found in avocados)
Plenty of minerals including Calcium Citrate, Magnesium Citrate, Iron (II) Fumarate, Zinc Gluconate, Manganese Chelate, Copper Lysinate, Molybdenum, Chromium Picolinate, Iodine and Selenium Amino Acids
Loads of vitamins including Vitamin A Palmitate, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Niacinamide, Pantothenic Acid, Pyridoxine, Folic Acid, Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Vitamin E Acetate, Vitamin K as well as Biotin.
 
This product contains wheat and so is a source of gluten, making this product unsuitable for people with Coeliac disease. However, in non-Coeliac and non-gluten sensitive individuals, gluten and gluten containing grains support a healthy gut microbiome. Read more about gluten and gut health here. Spirulina and Chlorella are edible algae with similar but distinct health benefits. Where Spirulina tends to grow in salty water near the ocean, Chlorella prefers fresh water.
 
Spirulina is full of healthy omega 6 fatty acids including gamma-Linolenic acid  (GLA) and Linoleic acid (LA) which have cardiovascular health benefits and are anti-inflammatory, as compared with classically 'bad' omega 6 fatty acids which are pro-inflammatory. Spirulina is also high in the minerals iron, copper and calcium and the vitamins riboflavin and thiamine. Spirulina has been demonstrated to assist with sleep, stress and aches, while enhancing production of the body's own antioxidants including superoxide dismutase (SOD).
 
Chlorella is full of healthy omega 3 fatty acids which help to reduce inflammation, and is high in the minerals magnesium, iron and zinc as well as the vitamin riboflavin. Chlorella contains plenty of the carotenoids lutein, zeaxanthin and α-carotene which can promote eye-heath and slow aging in the eye via a protective mechanism against sunlight. Chlorella has also been researched for use in reducing fatigue and improving energy, as well as reducing dry skin and enhancing metabolism.
